So here's my two cents... take it or leave it: Try to do bottles every day (or say at least 5 days/week)... so that it's not just when mama is at work. Maybe that way he won't associate "mama is gone" with "i have to take this stupid bottle". I may be giving the little creatures too much credit for that thought process - but probably not! Second: try a different kind of bottle? We have extras of the playtex kind if you want. Third: Try a sippy cup? Not sure if this suggestion is off the wall... but I think the early-learner ones say 4 months (he's close enough... he's an advanced kinda kid!) Fourth: Try Tylenol and/or Orajel and/or a Cherokee teething necklace (never tried the necklace myself... but people seriously swear by them!). Ok, that's all I got ... hope something helps!! :)

After this weekend, we discovered some thrush in his cheeks...so the recent bottle strike may be due to that. We've got him on Nystatin, Ama's taking acidophilus and garlic, and we're both being extra cautious. We'll let you know how this weekend goes!
