In our daily trips to the garden, I can't help but think of "Lord of the Rings" and the concept of a deepest passion for green things growing. Each day, watching for new sprouts and nurturing little seedlings can ease the burden of any miserable part of the day. I love walking out of the gate of the yard, crossing the wooden plank and the excitement of more green shoots popping up after only a week of waiting. I planted radishes yesterday- not because I like radishes, but because they mature in only 3 weeks- Hopefully you can learn to love the food you grow.
